My name is Dr. Stephanie Liebowitz, and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience dedicated to supporting and empowering clients.  Helping others is not just my profession- it is my life's passion.  I specialize in working with individuals navigating PTSD, trauma, sexual and child abuse, anxiety, panic disorders, depression, stress, and agoraphobia.


Since beginning my clinical social work and life coaching practice in 2007, I have continually honed my expertise, including advanced training in understanding how the brain and body respond to stress through my doctoral studies.  I provide trauma-informed care within a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment, aiming to make each client's journey as smooth and welcoming as possible.  My mission is to deliver empathetic, client-centered mental health care while equipping individuals with tools to cope and thrive during challenging times.

I am fluent in English and Spanish and committed to fostering an inclusive space for all clients, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.  My practice values diversity, and I continually strive to learn and grow to better serve each client's unique needs. 

While I proudly serve the Long Island community, I also offer telehealth services to extend care to those outside the area.  Wherever you are, I am here to provide guidance, support, and resources to help you navigate your journey to wellness.
